Following a sluggish opening quarter ( 2 points apiece ) the lads moved through the gears before the break with goals from Darragh Doyle, James Corcoran and Ciaran Byrne opening up a healthy 3-7 to 0-3 interval lead. The game petered out as the clock ticked by with Nick Keane scoring a fine goal to give Brackens a 4-12 to 0-9 victory.
