Well done to our U-15 footballers ( Team 2 ) who qualified for the Group D County Final this morning when they defeated Newcastle on a 5-7 to 1-2 socreline. A brace of goals from Liam Collins and one apiece from Shane Leahy, Ryan Stone and Oscar Duggan ensured Brackens were always in command. Points from Callum Patterson, Tommy Burke, Bill Finn, Robert Crampton, Stone, Leahy and Collins sealed a 5-7 to 1-2 victory. The boys now go forward to meet Moyle Rovers in the final after they defeated Thurles Gaels in the second semi-final. No fixture yet. Well done to all involved and best of luck in the final.
