The club held both their Juvenile and Senior A.G.M.'s in the last week. At the Juvenile A.G.M. on Tuesday night Ivor Myles (Chairman), Eamonn Walsh (Vice-Chairman), Rachel Harney (Secretary), Noelle Bergin (Assistant Secretary), Ronan Loughnane (P.R.O.), Michael Prout (Mid Board delegate), Philly Ryan (Player Retention Officer) and Jack O'Shea (Juvenile Rep. to Senior committee) were all returned to their positions for 2024. The Senior equivalent took place in Clonmore on Friday evening. Paddy Cadell (Chairperson), Tony Sheedy (Treasurer) and Aoife Percy (Secretary) were the sole nominees for these positions and were automatically appointed ahead of the meeting. Paul O'Brien (Vice-Chairperson), Ronan Loughnane (P.R.O.), Cathal Scully (Registrar) and Martin Bourke ( Oifigeach na Gaeilge) were all elected to their various roles. Aidan Doyle, Phonsie Deegan, Eamonn Corcoran were all elected as committee members while we would like to extend a warm welcome to Michael Cahill and Robert Nolan who join the Senior committee for the first time. Paddy Clarke and Cillian Roche were appointed as Coaching Officer and Children's Officer while Jack O'Shea, Sean Leahy and Aoife Percy fill the positions of Juvenile, County Board and Mid Board Reps. Seamus Delaney continues in his role as Health and Wellbeing officer. Motions to re-introduce the position of assistant secretary and to amend the make-up of the juvenile committee were both unanimously passed. Rachel Harney, Aoife Percy and Tony Sheedy were all thanked for their excellent reports to convention while each juvenile manager gave a detailed account of the year's events. Ivor Myles thanked all those who continue to work hard for the juvenile club while Paddy Cadell, who addressed both meetings, was very praiseworthy of the contributions of all who help to keep JK Brackens on the road every year.
