Well done to our U-17 footballers who captured Divisional honours in the Park yesterday afternoon when they defeated Moyne/Templetuohy on a 3-7 to 3-3 scoreline. Brackens goals came courtesy of Ciaran O'Shea, Jamie Ormond and Padraic O'Shea but they were made fight all the way by a determined Tuohy side who were in the game right to the end. Joint captains Ciaran O'Shea and Cian Sheedy accepted the Father O'Rourke Cup from Mid Bord na nOg Chairman P.J. Bowden. Ciaran also received the man-of-the-match award scoring 1-3. The boys will now go forward to meet the losers of the North final in a county quarter-final.which is provisionally fixed for the Park at 11.30am this coming Saturday week. Best of luck boys.
