Congratulations to Tom Corcoran who has been announced as Joint Captain of the Tipperary Minor Footballers for 2024. Tom played a pivotal role in JK Brackens County Minor success last year and he will share the job with Ronan Myles of Ardfinnan. Tom will be joined on the panel by his fellow Brackens team-mates Tommy Burke and Dayle Hogan while James Farrelly will once again serve as a selector. Tipp will open their account in Thurles on Tuesday April 2nd when they take on Limerick. They travel to Lemybrien to take on Waterford a week later before completing the round-robin series against Clare in Quilty on April 16th. We wish Tom all the best in his role and also wish Tommy, Dayle, James and all the rest of the panel the very best of luck in the Munster Championship. Well done also to Jack Marnell and Sean Walsh who have been selected on the Tipperary Minor hurling panel for their upcoming campaign. They begin their journey two days after the footballers when they entertain Cork in Thurles on April 4th at 7pm. Fraher Field in Dungarvan is the venue for the Waterford game a week later before Clare come to Thurles on May 2nd. The round-robin concludes in the Gaelic Grounds on May 9th.
