Since the introduction of the new Children First Guidelines last December, it is now a legal requirement for all people involved with any team that includes any players under the age 18 to have up to date Garda vetting and also to complete a Child Protection Course.  Vetting can now be accessed online on www.gaa.ie and anyone who has not been vetted in the last 5 years should begin the process as soon as possible.

A Child Protection Course will be run for the club in St. Joseph's Primary School on Tuesday, February 20th at 6.45pm.  Anyone involved in the coaching or management of any teams including any players under 18 years who has not completed this course in the last 5 years is requested to attend.  The course is free of charge.  Please contact Children's Officer Caitríona Maher (085) 7307533 to register.
