Congratulations to our Junior Football Team who won the Mid Junior A Football title on Friday evening last when they defeated Holycross-Ballycahill after extra time in Templemore.  

We dominated the first half and should have been more comfortable than our 4-point half-time lead.  Though we enjoyed a lot of possession in the 2nd half we didn't punish Holycross enough and when we conceded 1-1 in the dying minutes, extra time was required.  We totally domintaed extra time and outscored Holycross by 2-4 to 0-2 to seal the win.  Captain James Bergin received the Sean Ryan Cup from Mid Chairman Jonathan Cullen after the game.  WE are now through to a County Quarter Final where we will meet the losers of the North Final.
