Folowing on from success in U21 and Junior Football this year, our Minors captured their third successive Mid title on Tuesday evening when they defeated Thurles Sarsfields in the Mid Final in Templetuohy.

With the Blues having disposed of hot favourites Moycarkey-Borris in the semi-final, our task was never going to be easy and so it transpired.  A goal from captain Michael Egan settled early nerves and a second major from Andrew Ormond gave us a 2-point interval lead.  Scores after the break were scarce but once Nick Keane billowed the net with 6 minutes to go we were home and hosed to complete a hat-trick of titles for the club.

We now face North opposition in a County semi-final with no date known as yet.
