Mid finals in Peil

Our U-14’s have been very busy in recent weeks with two Peil finals taking place in the last few days. Sunday morning in the Park saw our second team (above) defeat their Durlas Og counterparts to lift the Mid C title on a 7-11 to 3-2 scoreline. And yesterday evening our first team had home advantage against Moycarkey but unfortunately lost the toss and had to play against the storm in the first half. A 30 point interval defecit was eventually reduced to a dozen but alas too little too late with the Littleton boys winning on a 9-5 to 5-5 scoreline. No rest for the wicked however as the hurlers go in search of County honours on Saturday as once again we head West for a County final when we take on Newport in Clonoulty on Saturday at 1.15pm.
