County Champions - Again

Well done to our U-14 hurlers who captured the clubs second county final of the year by defeating Newport in the Feile B at Clonoulty on Saturday afternoon last. Despite playing against the breeze in the opening act Brackens started strongly with Jamie Bergin dominant at centre back and the strong running Michael Cahill causing endless problems for the Newport rearguard. Despite the Mulcair boys having plenty of possession in the second half the seven point interval lead was never threatened with birthday boy Cian Sheedy putting the icing on the cake with our third goal to run out 3-7 to 1-4 winners. We now go forward to represent Tipperary at the Feile All-Ireland finals in Cork which will be another proud weekend for all associated with the club.
