Our U-12's had mixed luck in Clonmore on Tuesday night recording a win and a loss. Our 1st team had a great tussle with Holycross before going down on a 3-9 to 3-6 score-line. There were originally five teams in Group 1 with the top three qualifying for the semi-finals after the round-robin series with teams 4 and 5 playing-off for the last spot. However Gortnahoe's withdrawal now means that all four can look forward to a semi-final with our last group game against Upperchurch deciding whether we finish 3rd or 4th. Our 2nd team have guaranteed themselves a semi-final berth following their 5-7 to 0-0 win over Holycross - their 3rd win in Group 3. Details of semi-finals will be announced following next weeks CCC meeting. All U-12 finals will take place in Templetouhy on May 12th. Hard luck to Conor Cadell ( came on as a sub ) James Corcoran and Johnny Nevin who were with Tipperary Minor Footballers who went down to Clare in Ennis last night. They must now either draw or beat Limerick in Tipp town next Wednesday night for the right to meet Clare again in the Phase 1 final.
