Sport can be cruel sometimes as our U-14 footballers found out at the Peil in Leitrim this weekend. Leaving Templemore on Friday morning the lads were quietly confident of making a bit of history. Their hopes were very quickly dashed however as they found the opposition far superior. Never ones to crib after defeat but management were very aggrieved at the grading system which found our boys out of their depth in all four games as the results clearly indicate. They held their heads high however and contested all four games to the best of their ability and did JK Brackens and Tipperary proud. Well done to each and every player, supporter and member of the management team. You are doing a fantastic job with our juveniles and remember there will be better days ahead. Brackens Abu.
