Tipperary have received an allocation of 15,000 tickets for the All-Ireland Senior hurling final. This is made up of 9,500 stand tickets and 5,500 terrace tickets and is around 1,000 lower than 2016 when Tipperary also contested the Minor final that day . 70% of the stand tickets received are in the Upper Hogan, Upper Cusack and the Davin Stand. The county has received a very limited number of central Lower Hogan or Cusack stand tickets. These have been allocated to players, guests, sponsors, etc;. Season ticket holders, of which Tipperary have 2,200, will also be located centrally in the Lower Cusack. A points system will be operated by the County Board which will determine how many tickets each club will receive. This is based on the number of teams affiliated, amount of club members and numbers in the county board draw. Printing of club tickets has commenced today ( Wednesday) and will be delivered to the Divisional Ticket Co-ordinators by the weekend. They in turn will pass them onto the clubs. Judging from this the earliest possible day to distribute tickets to our club members will be Monday but this is not yet confirmed. We will keep you posted. Once again we ask all those seeking tickets to have patience and show respect for the Secretary. Demand is certainly exceeding supply at the moment. We will do our best to help you all out.
