Hard luck to our Junior B footballers who lost the Mid Final against Moyne-Templetouhy last night. In a match that never took off a much more youthful Tuohy side had far too much pace in the legs for an ageing Brackens outfit. They managed to hold Brackens scoreless in the opening half while adding 6 points of their own. They were also reduced to 14 men after 24 mins but it had little bearing on the game. Paddy Delaney finally opened Brackens account in the 54th minute with a well taken point but the home side ran out convincing winners. This competition has no link to the county championship where we are already qualified for the quarter-finals for which the draw has not yet taken place. Final Score: 1-9 to 0-2.
