Well done to all our club members who got involved in last weekends juvenile lockdown championship. There was some great skill on display over the three days from all three age groups.
Our U12’s were up first with Seamus Delaney co-ordinating proceedings and finished the day mid table, sixth out of twelve clubs which was a brilliant result and one that I have no doubt we can be built on this week.
Our u14’s were under the guidance of Caroline Broderick and went two steps higher than our u12’s by finishing the day an excellent fourth in the table, which again I’m sure with an extra push could be improved on.
Our u16’s were out in the heat of the bank holiday Monday and with co-ordinator Leo Collins finished the day in a tremendous 2nd position on the table.
We also had an internal club raffle prize for anyone who participated and the winners were U12 Jack Burke, U14 Ciaran O Shea and U16 Sean Collier.
We would like to ask parents to encourage as many of the lads as possible to get involved this week and see can we build on a great start to the championship, and we’d like to re-assure anyone that it’s only the club co-ordinator that will see the videos
