Following last Friday night's Mid Board meeting there has been a change to the running of the Junior B Hurling Championship. There will now be two groups of four and one group of three with all group winners advancing to the semi-finals. The runners-up in the two groups of four will meet in a quarter-final with the winners becoming the fourth semi-finalist.

Group 1 : Moyne/Templetuohy Moycarkey/Borris Thurles Sarsfields

Group 2: Knock Clonakenny Holycross/Ballycahill Gortnahoe/Glengoole

Group 3 : JK Brackens Killea Loughmore/Castleiney Thurles Gaels.
