Important information re admission to next weekends games
Next weekend will see our Minor Hurlers, Senior Footballers and Intermediate Footballers kick off their County Championship campaigns. On Friday evening in Clonmore at 8pm we face Holycross in the opening round of the Mid Minor A hurling championship. There are no tickets required for this game and admission will be free. Saturday is the turn of our Senior Footballers as they head West to Dundrum to take on Aherlow with a 7.30pm throw-in. Due to Covid-19 restrictions only 200 people will be allowed enter the ground. This includes players, management teams, referees, umpires, linesmen, media and members of the Knockavilla club who will be hosting the game. This leaves us with a very small number of tickets to be distributed among our club members. Anyone looking for a ticket from the club please contact Aoife Percy (087-7734300) by text message only before 9pm on Wednesday night. Club members will be given preference. If you hold a season ticket/pass you need to log on to tipperarygaa.ie to register your pass. Once registered you may then apply for a ticket to attend the game. There are 30 of these tickets (in total) available for the Aherlow game. It is also important to note that you can only purchase a ticket for one game per day. The pass registration system will open in the coming week and notification will be posted here as soon as we have word. On Sunday afternoon we head for Holycross to take on Cashel at 4pm in the County Intermediate Football Championship with the same ticketing system in place. Again you must text Aoife before 9pm on Wed if you wish to go. We encourage anyone with a season pass to register and apply for a ticket through that system. The following weekend we take on Kildangan in Semple Stadium in the opening round of the Senior Hurling Championship and by then the 200 crowd limit will have been raised to 500. Please cooperate and respect all club officials during this difficult time.
