It was honours even in the Park this evening as our Junior B footballers drew with Moyne-Templetuohy in Round 2 of the Mid Championship. Brackens opened the scoring thanks to a Stephen Owens point from play before Brian Roche landed a similar score to double the lead. Tuohy pulled one back before a Roche free restored our two point advantage. Tuohy landed two in a row to tie it up before Roche squeezed home a penalty kick on the stroke of half-time to leave us 1-3 to 0-3 up at the break. The sides shared four points in the third quarter with Brackens scores coming from a Roche free and Rhys Loughnane from play. But it was the Tuohy boys who finished the stronger as they landed the last three points of the evening to finish all square at 1-5 to 0-8.
