The third round of the  Mid U17A Hurling Championship was played against Drom & Inch in The Ragg on Monday 25th July.

 This was a game full of some good individual performances and some great hurling interchanges. Even though Ned Delaney was missing from the defence, they coped well especially after the concession of an early goal. The half time score of 1 - 13 to 1 - 7 to Brackens against the breeze showed their dominance.

Brackens continued to dominate in the second half and at the end won on a scoreline of 2 - 28 to 2 - 13.

The next game is on 8th August against Durlas Og in Templemore.
