The 2023 County Senior hurling league gets underway tomorrow. Brackens travel to McDonagh Park in Nenagh to take on the home side with a 10.30am start. Thurles Sarsfields, Toomevara, Drom/Inch and Kilruane make up the group of six. The football league kicks off the following week with Brackens at home to Ballyporeen with Clonmel and Arravale Rovers also in the group. The Junior A hurling League also begins on the last weekend of March with the Junior B hurling League getting underway on the first weekend of April. On the inter county scene Tipp take on Offaly in Thurles on Saturday at 2pm in the National Football League. Conor Cadell, Kuba Beben and Eanna mcBride are all involved here. Tipperary Minor hurlers travel to Shannon next Tuesday evening to take on Clare in the opening round of the Munster Championship. The following Saturday (March 25th), Tipp travel to Clare once again, this time to Ennis for the start of the Munster U-20 hurling championship. In juvenile action our U-13 (Group 4) footballers are in Mid championship action this Saturday morning when they take on Durlas Og at 11 am in Clonmore.
