Well done to all involved in the organising and running of the Golf Classic which was held at Templemore Golf Club over the weekend. Many thanks to all those who sponsored the event in many different ways and especially to all of you who turned out to play. The overall winners were the Eamonn Grey sponsored team of Lyndon Fairbrother, Jack Kennedy and Eoin Fitzpatrick. Michael Delaney, Michael Marnell and Jack O'Shea were second while John Fitzpatrick and his daughter Claire teamed up with John Greed to claim the silver. James Connolly and Mary Ryan won the longest drive competition while Dylan Moloney won Nearest the Pin. Thanks also to Templemore Golf Club who had the course in splendid condition. The money raised will be of great benefit to all involved in the club.
